A few days ago I just got back from an awesome trip down to Puerto Rico with a few friends. It was great to get away from the daily grind and freezing weather and chill out and surf every day for a week straight.  Can’t wait to go back.  I put up a full gallery of shots on my site www.northeastsessions.com

chillin on the boardwalk this past weekend.

Tons of people on the boardwalk checking out the swell all day long. I think I’m going to move to Long Beach within the next few months.

I’m pretty pissed I left my camera at home for Sunday’s session because I could have grabbed some sick shots after I got a bunch of nice tubes. But, I guess the shots from Friday will have to do. This is the first fall/winter that I am going to be back in NY full time.  Even though there wasn’t much swell in New Hampshire, I’m going to miss the changing coastline in the Northeast, that produced some nasty wedges like this one here.

I’ve been craving waves lately, and just taking a look through some old shots.  We don’t necessarily need a big swell.  Just a fun size, the right tide, and some offshores and maybe we could find some gems like this coming through at one of my favorite spots on Long Island.

Can’t believe it is October already. This year flew by.  From my memory, October has usually produced some pretty epic days for New York.  This is from the East End of Long Island from last October.  Lets hope for some juice to come through soon. The flatness is killing me.
